About Agronova Technologies
Agronova Technologies is a group of qualified and experienced technocrats having proven track record in their core fields of renewable energy, regulatory, electrical & civil.
Agronova is MEDA (Maharashtra Energy Development Agency – an apex state govt. body for renewable energy) empaneled consultant and had been invited by NISE (National Institute of Solar Energy), MSEB, MEETRA, Adani Power, MASMA (Maharashtra Solar Mfg Association), Smart Energy Magazine, engineering colleges in the past for presentations and providing training in solar.
Agronova has successfully completed more than 300 solar installations in Maharashtra (few in Karnataka) in past seven years and is in the service since 2015. Cumulative project size would be around 10MW both in ground and roof mounted, the oldest system still giving excellent generation results. Agronova is installing a floating solar plant in Maharshtra for 500kW.
In addition to solar projects and consultancy services, a group company of Agronova is engaged in latest BESS (Battery Energy Storage Systems) technologies.
Promoter and CEO of the company, Mr. RK Nehra, alumni of IIT Mumbai have more than 23 years of cross functional technical, commercial and management experience.
- He has been in solar field for more than fourteen years. He had worked with MNRE (Ministry of New and Renewable Energy, Govt. of India) and IIT Bombay on their solar projects in the past.
- Headed the prestigious project of of Indian Institute of Technology Bombay (IIT Bombay) and Ministry of New and Renewable Energy (MNRE), Govt. of India named “National Solar Thermal Power, Testing, Simulation and Research Facility”. As a part of this project, built 1 MW grid connected solar thermal power plant at Gwalpahari, Gurgaon in the premises of National Institute of Solar Energy, MNRE. Also, developed simulator (software) package for scale-up power plant design and national level test facility for solar thermal applications. Have complete experience of the full project life cycle: from project inception, feasibility study, preparation of DPR, design, vendor selection, installation, testing, commissioning and O&M work.
- Demonstrated broad competencies in strategic management of technical matters, creating start-ups, engaging in entrepreneurial activities, assessing venture opportunities in various sectors.
- He has provided consultancy services to MJP (Maharashtra Jeevan Pradhikaran, Govt. of Maharashtra), private companies, cooperative factories and municipal bodies for various solar projects.
- Headed and successfully completed numerous engineering projects and challenging product development work ensuring delivery in compliance to quality, cost and delivery commitments.
